Has there been a test between the correlation of star signs and the Big Five personality traits?

The Big Five personality traits are openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. Moreover, if there has been a test, how well did they match the suggested personality traits?

As far as I know no tests like this have been done, I'd be interested in the results of this if it's ever attempted though.

Aspicco, I believe the "big five" personality traits are the main traits that have been identified by psychologists and (as far as I am aware) are used by rating people on a scale from high to low in each trait.

I have never heard of the Big Five, but it seems like a pretty narrow list... It wouldn't be hard to assign general signs to the traits, but humans are for more complex than that... the same way that Sun Signs say little about a person but a full personal chart reading is quite revealing.

As for the Big Five... why is there "openness" and not "closed?" And how are openness and extraversion different from each other? The Big Five seem a little too simple.

I have actually wondered about the same thing.  I have found some information relating astrology signs to the 16 Myers Briggs types which I have found interesting but not these 5 personality types.  I will leave some of the websites that I have found as sources of this answer.
