  1. You Tube has some videos of individuals in lift "incidents":  http://www.youtube.com/results?search_qu...

  2. Not recently-- usually accidents happen because of 'user error'.  Ex. 2 years ago, a 10 year old fell off 35' off the chairlift under the bar when he was messing with his bindings.  He only broke his arm though.

Other than that, it may stop for a long time, but at least you'll get some freebies once you get off the lift for your wait.

  3. Do a search on "Yan lifts".  They were badly built, and had a sorry history of failure.

There was an accident at Keystone (I think) and one at Whisler.  People died in both.

  4. hun. you're fine. you have a better chance of dying as ur boarding / skiing then to fall off the chiarlift, of the chairlift snapping

  5. Don't ask that....If I hear some, I won't get on a chair lift again...Some things are better left unknown!!
