I was debating safety with some friends of mine and we know of Flo hyman's unfortunate event but other then her I have never hear dof a death on a women's team, especially towards the beggining of women's careers. They are supposed to be more resiliant to heart attacks then guys.

If someone has died of an accident or more likely heart defect could you please post who and where as I want ot collect mor einformation for some medical studies on saftey. Any answer would greatly help the sport even if it was a local high school or out of the way college, My team and I will conduct further statistics. Thank you

  1. I've read a lot on Flo Hyman, she had a disease she didn't know about, Marfan's Syndrome. You should search sudden deaths in athletes on google.

  2. i know of a case in florida of a really cute girl from the local high school unfortunetly collapsed and died during a tournament.  She couldn't be revived and she was a serious player too.  don't know her name unfortunetly
