  1. What do you actually mean by the equivalent of the Bugatti? They Veyron is not a concept either as far as I am aware - I think if you have the dosh you and proportionally not too much brain or sense then you can have one. I may be wrong in that but am not that interested in them to bother looking it up.

There have been so many ridiculous hand crafted, grossly expensive bikes that the list would be quite long but just what element of the Veyron is it that you wish to compare as equivalent?

In my opinion there is no equivalent as the Bugatti is a car and thus by defualt ultimately pretty much every motorcycle out there is a superior prospect in my eyes!!!

  2. The Veyron is not a concept car mate.

They sell for about  ÃƒÂ‚£850K. Simon " Cod-peice " Cowell has one !!

To answer your question : YES.

    It was The Britten V1000.

  3. All the main players in the motorcycle industry decided to "cap" their bikes speed at 186 mph around 2001. This was due to bikes like the 210 mph Suzuki Hayabusa and equivelant Kawasakis etc. drawing unwanted attention from the powers that be.

Unfair...? Yes, but crash a bike at that speed and you,re F,d. In a car you might stand half a chance.

  4. RIP Richard Britten.

What a great story, and that bike was/is awesome.

  5. Like most of the other boys said the Bugatti is NOT a concept car. It is in production and available, if you have the dosh, for about £1mill.

Some have claimed the magnificent Britten as an example but my suggestion  would be from "old man" Honda. The NR750. This was a complete concept bike and has had many design features go into production on future bikes.

  6. Like wiggysam said, it ain't no concept, and it's price is a round million now due to the pound against the euro exchange rate changes.

A version with a removable roof panel comes out next year - at an undisclosed price, but the first one is to abe auctioned at the annual Gooding & Company auction at Pebble Beach (lot number 134). Predictions are that the bidding will reach around £2 million!!
