Has there ever been a shark attack in marmaris, turkey?

i was just wondering if there has ever been any types of shark attacks in marmaris because im going and im curious 'cause it is the mediterranean sea.

i ve never heard of shark attacks anywhere in Turkey. So, it is safe...

I've never heard of sharks at Marmaris and I'm a sharkaphobic (like the new word I just made up lol). If I go somewhere I always search for shark attacks on the net first. It comes from living in Africa and seeing them get through the shark nets, scary for a little girl. We have sharks in Cornwall, England at the moment but they are basking sharks - no teeth:)

Sharks tend to stay in the bigger oceans, not the seas.  If there were to ever be a shark in the Mediterranean (even when I've never heard of a shark attack in Turkey) then it would probably be the smallest of the baby sharks.
