  1. All the d**n time.

The Internet is not magic. The more specific your search is, the harder it is to find what you're looking for.

All things considered, the sheer volume of information on the Internet doesn't relate to the *quality* of that information. The great majority of the information publicly available on the net is of such poor quality, it's barely usable.

Keep in mind that everything available on the net has been put there by someone else. Realize that only a minute fraction of the world's population bother to publish their knowledge on the Internet. Contrast this with the cumulative knowledge and histories of every person ever to walk this Earth, and you'll realize that the Internet is not as amazing as it's cracked up to be.

Sure, the web is an abundant source of information, but it doesn't remotely compare to how much information is truly available.

The net is still pretty new to us, so the quantity of information we can easily access is still a bit overwhelming. We're not used to having this much knowledge at our fingertips. This kinda tricks us into believing the Internet is the source of infinite knowledge, and that you can literally find "anything" on the Internet.

You'd be surprised about how much information is NOT available on the Internet.
