    2. roberto duran

    3. thomas [the hitman] hearns

    4. aaron pryer

    5. marvalous marvin hagler

    6 hecktor [macho] camacho

  3. The thing with pernell whitaker wasen't so much his speed, but more on the lines of his slickness.

You just couldnt hit the man,

Very smooth, cool, calm and collected defense style.

Really havent seen anyone as slick as him until mayweather

    came along.

  4. Roy jones jr. and floyd mayweather in my opinion are quicker but this question is purely opinionated.

And Cassius Clay wasn't faster than whitaker, he wasn't even that fast he was just really quick for a heavyweight.

  5. Thumbs up to Da Bull, I give the nod to Roy Jones as well.  There have been a lot of quick fighters, but nobody had the combination of speed and quickness of Roy Jones Jr.

  6. Hey yea, there once upon a time a boxer named Meldrick Taylor. He was so fast you could not see his arms moving. I have him as the fastest boxer ever in boxing. you can see him on you tube.

hey guy Bloblaba or whatever your name is Meldrick is by far faster than Roy. second to none. Of course I am talking on his earlier years. Just see Meldrick vs Chavez

  7. Willie Pep!

  8. i would go with floyd mayweather jr and heartless um uh....sugar ray leonard never beat camacho,he got ko'd and he never fought aaron pryor.so um yeah learn your facts.

  9. benny leonard

  10. Jimmy Carruthers(australia's batamweight world champ, from 50's) he was the first world champion to retire undefeated, may 16,1954 in any division, 19 fights, returned to the ring in '61, losing four from six, another failed comeback.

Curruthers fought vic toweel in sth africa in '52, films show that Curruthers landed 147 punches, in 2 min 19secs and the fight was over, Toweel (the holder of the belt) threw only 1 punch and it missed.

Not sure if he was quicker but that sure is a lot of punches to land in that time.(not counting the ones that missed)
