i heard this story a fews years ago as well. some guy had over a million miles on his truck too. might be a record for a personal car but not with big semi trucks. they have well over a million miles on their engines.

No its been done many times before and if someone takes really good care of any vehicle and drives it with common since the same can be done.

doubt its a record... semi trucks get that frequently. as of personal vehicles im not shure.

It doesn't happen frequently , but it does happen. And not just Semi's.  There are several Clubs for Million Miler Cars.  About 15 years ago there was two competing commercials on TV between Ford and Mercedes both claiming to have the most passenger cars or trucks with over 1 Mil on the road.
