Mom and Dad make a son. They try to make another baby but it does not work. So they adopt a girl, and the son is really physically attracted to that girl.

Has this case or something similar ever happened before?

It certainly has happened. If this is the case with you, please find a professional (a therapist) to talk to about it. Or if this is the case with someone you know well, you may still want to talk with a therapist, so they can help you figure out what you possibly could do. Try to get a recommendation from someone you know because it is hard to find a good therapist just from a random search. Find someone you feel comfortable with and feel like you can trust. If you don't like the first person you find, don't waste your time. There are many excellent therapists out there. Unfortuanately there are also lots of mediocre ones -- who may be nothing more than a waste of time -- and there are also some lousy ones who can do more harm than good. If  this is the situation you are in, you need help in sorting out how to handle it. Try to put aside your feelings of embarrassment (or whatever it is you may be feeling) and look into dealing with the situation.

yes, it happenes alot.

Its not incest when you're not related genetically. However, legally you could never get married.

I have no advice...haven't been there.

yes i'm sure things like this have happened and no it doesn't make you crazy any more than walking down the street and meeting someone and becoming attracted to them. you have no biological connection to this person.

the situation is kinda sticky though so you may want to speak to your parents and say,  "look i know this might not sound right but this is how it is so what do i do?" or even talk to your sister about it and see what she says.

I figure if woody allen can marry his adopted daughter than it shouldn't be illegal for you, but at the same time it could be devistating to your parents. this is something that needs to be discussed within the family though. just because you're attracted to her doesn't mean you need pscyological help. Your parents my be receptive to your concerns and be able to give you some advice. we really can't help who we fall in love with.
