Has the losing team in the Stanley Cup finals ever been shut out for the entire series? If not I think this year could be the first!

I think hes talking about preventing the other team from scoring a single goal.....and I doubt it has or will happen.

It has not happened before.  Between periods one of the commentators just said this is the first time that a team has ever scored the first 6 goals in a Stanley Cup Final series.

yeah, it has happened, its called a sweep, and Detroit loves to do it. but if you mean have they ever been shut out for 7, then no, because as soon as there are 4 games done, its over.
