i have been standing so many time in the initial climb, you just adjust yourself like walking not in a very pitched hill  but better to keep your seat belt fasten in case of any unexpected turbulence cuz there you can get hurt...

No getting up during the 1st stage of the climb is idiotic. at least wait for thrust reduction and VNAV for h**l's sake. never seen anyone idiotic enough to do it either.

first of all.. thats fake.. and second of all, although not recommended, you can stand up during the initial climb.. its just like standing on a steep roof (incline) with the wind blowing in your face (acceleration force)... you adjust your body and footing so you dont fall backwards.. and yes, if you did end up falling down, you would roll to the back of the plane.. just like falling down a hill..
