  1. Time is like water..... You can't touch the same water twice, the flow that has passed will never pass again

  2. Yes, it has.  Sometimes it's like the faster we move forward, the more backwards we get.

  3. I think it indeed has... As time progresses, we get more consumer goods in our hands which make us more busy. As we progress in age, we are more likely to have less time for lots of things... I love the following Surah (Al-Asr):

103.001 By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),

103.002 Verily Man is in loss,

103.003 Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

Al-Qur'an, 103.001-003 (Al-Asr [The Declining Day, Eventide, The Epoch])

  4. I think that time has lost it's blessing. We always think to ourselves "oh wow, time went by quickly!".

I honestly think time is the same as it was 1400 years ago, same speed. The issue is that we have been filling the free time we have in doing unnecessary things that have become habits. Say we have 24 hours in a day.

    4 hours watching TV.

    2 hours gossiping.

    6 hours shopping.

    8 hours of sleeping.

    2 hours eating.

    2 hours chores.

Oh goody good gumdrops! I totally forgot the internet! Seriously, I spend most of my time on the internet that I've lost 6 lbs because I barely eat.

Anyways, messed up approximation of what people waste their time on, but it's an example. We don't need to shop for 6 hours or watch TV for 4 or 2 hours to gossip. I think people have filled their free times with insignificant things that have become a habit. Now, it's not time that's going fast, it's time being wasted. So yes, time has lost it's blessings. In other words, we've lost our blessings by trading free time for things that are worldly.

  5. Time will move faster be4 the Qiyamah from wat I understand of Rasulullah (s) hadith in the book of Signs of Qiyamah. Yet it is the Amaal (deeds) of man which makes us lose precious time without realizing it.& for every stage of life & the time we spent in  the world we shall be answerable infront of Allah.Allah says in the Quraan " wal asr inal Insana lafi khusr"(Allah swear by time, Indeed man is at loss). So we should make the best out of our time so that we have best memories & stand infront of Allah with out shame.

Make duwa" Allahum barik lana fe awqatina"( Allah give us barakah in Time"

    Allah nos best.

  6. Definitely lost its blessing, because of what we do in our daily events..
