I've been in contact withour local high school principal (Franklin,IN) and he would like to have the District and high school names of any that have allowed a home schooler participate in sports.

  1. Things may have changed since I received my information, but I was under the understanding that here in IN, homeschoolers can play sports in Elem only but not in High School. It had something to do with recruiting issues I think. Our children use Upwards. Check with a local homeschool co-op in your area. They should have names and numbers for coaches in your city. The Upwards teams are for everyone (not just homeschoolers) and focus on learning skill and technique not winning. They play many other teams around the state. I know we have soccer, basketball and volleyball. I am not sure what other sports are offered, my oldest is only in 5th.

  2. Why do you need that information?

If you are looking for sports opportunities for your homeschooler, here's some information on homeschool sports in IN:

    Hope that helps!
