Has your family been affected by cancer?

Has anyone in your family suffered from cancer. And you don't necessarily need to have cancer to be affected by it. Knowing someone who has cancer counts too.

  1. yes. my mom had colon cancer when I was 11 or 12. I don't know where I would be now if I had lost her.She came through just fine thank God. My brother had cancer when he was just 31. It was a rare one which eventually caused heart failure. He lived a year or so longer than expected. I know he's in heaven and I'll see him again someday. God is merciful.


  2. grandfather had lung cancer, mother in law died of bone cancer. and my dad's exgirlfriend had breast cancer twice.

  3. my mother-in-law is currently going through chemo for leukemia and has been on an emotional roller coaster at times but shes a real trooper and shes putting up a good fight and has the support of all of her family.

  4. My ex husband had cancer and passed away from it in 2001. It went into remission and came back worse. He only had a year left to live.

  5. 2 of my aunts died from cancer (I'm not sure what kind, I was young), my grandma won against breast cancer, and my grandpa was diagnosed with tongue cancer a few months ago and they had to cut off more than half of it to save him.

  6. My Grandma died a few months ago after cancer finally got the best of her.  It was a sad time, and I will greatly miss her.  However, it was nice to see the family come together and remember her for the amazing person she was.  

  7. My mom died in 2005 of cervical cancer.

    She skipped the GYN visits for 20yrs.... then it was too late.

    Girls, please go every year and get checked out!!!!!
