An album so bad you were like WTF? We talk alot about the best. What is your favorite bands worst effort. No one needs to mention St Anger we all know it blows!

Mine would be Demonic by TestAmenT. That album only had two original members and it really stunk!

  1. Judas Priest's "Turbo." WHYYYYYY?!?!

    Demolition kinda blew, too.

  2. Stone Temple Pilots- Shangri-La Dee Da

  3. The Division Bell

  4. Yeah!

Are You Dead Yet by Children of Bodom. I only like the first track, but the whole album sucks! Also, their album Blooddrunk is the 2nd worst.

Children of Bodom just soldout.... I guess...

Peaches - I really agree on that! I don't care about Virtual XI and The X Factor! Bayley just can't do it!

  5. I think the new Motely Crue album is awful...it's not near as good as their old stuff!

Same thing with Bon Jovi, I think his last good song was "Have A Nice Day" and that was only good at best...all his new country crossover c**p makes me sad....his oldies are fantastic!

  6. i think almost every stones album after tattoo you was nothing compared to their earlier work, but a bigger bang was the ultimate proof that they need to quit attempting to record new stuff

  7. Not really.I guess it's a good think Bauhaus broke up before releasing any rubbish.I was suspicious of their "Go Away White" album that they released this year(self-explanatory)but it turned out to be pretty decent with a couple of quite good tracks on it.

  8. Hmmmmmm..... Zeitgeist......Smashing Pumpkins

Year Zero and With Teeth ....NIN.....

    Tool, has remained brilliant.

  9. No....I didn't like Get Behind Me Satan ( from The White Stripes) at first, but then I realised it is actually a great album. God, I love the Stripes.

  10. My favorite has always been The beatles. I don't think they EVER did anything other than super. The one song that I would call a dead skunk would be,"You Know My Name" Phew!!!!

  11. I think most bands put out a c**p record at some point

  12. Dude..

St Anger was poetry compared to Vitual XI by Iron Maiden.

I thought after the X Factor, things HAD to improve... yeah... wrong again.

Man it's so beautiful to have Bruce back.

fortunately, most of my other top bands, like Sabaton, Iced Earth, Nightwish, Death, Bolt Thrower and the like have yet to drop an Audio t**d.  They mave have had a few substandard albums, but nothing truly horrendous.  (Like say Megadeth's Risk album... *shudders*)

*EDIT..gotta disagree my friend..St Anger actually has 4 tracks I kinda like (Frantic, St Anger, Shoot Me Again and the Unnamed Feeling) whereas there isn't one single solitary track i can stomach on Virtual XI...idk if Steve's songwriting was off..or if Blaze just was so horrid a singer it ruined everything else..but... that album..it is Panic at the Disco bad.

  13. Radiohead - Hail to the Thief. Really uninspired load of semi-political gibberish.

  14. Radiohead's first album Pablo Honey, while charming in its grunge-meets-Britpop way, is nowhere near as brilliant and unforgettable as their subsequent albums. Every album since The Bends has been a masterpiece.

And I'm sure the band would love everyone to forget the non-album single "Pop Is Dead." lol They matured so much between 1993 and 1995.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkcZDGFm0... Ouch, Thom.

  15. Fleetwood Mac : "Time"

Despite the continued presence of Mick, John and Christine, and the addition of fellow Classic rocker Dave Mason, nothing could save it. Definitely their worst, followed by "Behind the Mask"...

Jethro Tull : "A" and "Under Wraps"

I've no idea what went wrong with "A". It was originally going to be an Ian Anderson solo album {hence the title}, but the label wanted a new JT album. But the sound was awful ~ the vocals were buried so low in the mix that you can barely hear them {and that still applies now, even after remastering}. "Under Wraps" was just far too keyboard driven, and sounded 'wrong'.

These two travesties are closely followed by "Catfish Rising" and "Rock Island", each of which only contained one good song.

    Mike Oldfield : "Heaven's Open"

His last album on the Virgin Records label {his 1973 debut "Tubular Bells" had launched the label}, the only good song is the title track.

I have to disagree with Minimooglove about Dire Straits ~ "On Every Street".

Ok, so it wasn't their best, but there are some excellent tracks on there, such as :~

    'On Every Street'

    'Iron Hand'

    'Planet of New Orleans'

    'Fade to Black'

And 'Calling Elvis' and 'Heavy Fuel' are pretty darn good too...

  16. Ya Megadeths Risk was a real WTF?? They're back on form thank god with United Abominations!

  17. Iron Maiden's Virtual XI, but yeah its already been mentioned. Although I have to admit, I liked some of the songs on there like the Educated Fool

  18. Dire Straits' last studio album On Every Street was quite bombtastic at manypoints.

  19. Nope...every Opeth album is kick a$$

  20. this is a tough one....but...

one that comes to mind....would be:

POP  by  U2....not one of their better efforts

  21. Not Pavement, though I'll admit that that I don't find myself in the mood for Westing very often. It's still a very cool record.

I have trouble coming up with "stinkers" but I have to say that the most recent Radiohead effort was pretty hit and miss for my tastes (some great stuff, but some stuff that just doesn't move the dial one bit) and the most recent Breeders album also does little to nothing to me.

I know it's just a matter of opinion, but Hail to the Thief was really good. Really good. That one surprised me, but I know my selection of In Rainbows will evoke a similar reaction from some.

  22. I agree with Demonic and Risk, both albums were awful.

I'm gonna go with Force of Habit by Exodus. As much as I love Exodus that is one album I don't care if I never have to hear again.
