Has your friend ever canceled plans at the last minute?

I got in the car and had just put the keys in the ignition when my friend texted me on the phone and told me that her grandma got sick and couldn't hang out tonight. This is the second time she's done this in 2 weeks. I haven't seen her forever. I'm really annoyed because I spent a lot of time getting ready and pretty, but I can't say anything just in case her grandma really IS sick. So I just went to my room and took pictures of myself. Do your friends do that to you?

No, my friends are too scared of me to do that.

One of my friends yes. But I've also had to cancel (though not that late in the game). Just ask her next time to make sure she has time to go somewhere when you do make plans. And make your plans a head of time. My firend will spontaneously decide that we're going to Vegas or Hollywood and then gets mad at me when I say I can't go (sorry just don't have that kind of money to throw around).

Sometimes but not usually.  Maybe their grandma was really sick.  Did you offer to help with anything?

ma friends would always canel things at the last minuete and i would get so mad

especially ma girlfriend

she does it alot and it just pisses me off cuz i really want to her

especially when im already like a block from the place we are all meeting at

man that gets me mad!!!

Yes, it happens. Some people are just unreliable. Just get her back or say "******, I'm not your friend anymore cause you snooze you lose"

My friends sometimes do that to me, but if your friend has pulled the "my grandma is sick" card on you in two weeks, she's probably lying. As far as I know, people just don't get sick, feel tons better, and get sick again.

If you're looking for advice, I would come out and ask your friend if she's lying to you, but don't phrase it in a way where it would be offensive. Just say something like, "I can understand if you don't want to hang out tonight, but please don't lie to me. I spent a lot of time getting ready, and it all had to go to waste. Next time, just tell me if you don't want to hang out."

Yes, people do this to me.

But at least your "friend" texted you to tell you she couldn't go.

A lot people I know don't even text or call to tell me when they can't go.

actually yes and her grandma was sick as well. I know how annoying it is to get all ready and then be texted a minute before you leave. ahh, oh well! we're still friends haha.
