Has your hamster ever hissed at you?

my hamster is very scared of people today i tryed to pick it up and it like hissed exactley like a cat would at me is this normal or rare?

My hamster usually hisses at my other hamster who's a male, they're kept in different cages of course but whenever i put the two cages next to each other they start hissing at each other, probably hate each other!

No but it's normal for then to do that.

totally normal! i'd be surprised if it never did! My hamster hisses at me when I wake it up or when my little dog comes in the room... So it's super normal.

No sweetie;; its normal...

my younger hamster did it at my now dead hamster. =[

Its normal...but if shes unusally scared today for no reason... check her for any unnormal signs.

Hissing is normal, its just a warning to stay away, try picking it up with a cup or a glove to begin taming it
