  1. We have a fine library in our small town, borrow from other

librarys any book one requests, if they don't have it. And yes they have many books of poetry, don't

know how current, will have to check.

  2. i just relettered their hours on their window,

then i got stuck in the kids section looking at artwork.

    (kids draw neato things)

what would be some good choices to add

if i dont see them when i look?

  3. My library has a really good poetry section, but whether they have ordered anything in say, the last couple of months, I couldn't say.  I have had two given to me as gifts and I always look for them at yard sales.  It's hard being addicted to the written word, but someone has to do it!  You have me thinking, who makes these decisions?  Off to the library tomorrow to find out.

  4. Haven't checked, will have to.

  5. I have not visited a library since the time I first went on the internet.

  6. Actually, I have not been to the library in so long! I usually order books on Amazon so I'm developing quite a collection myself. When we move, I told my husband that we need a room to make into a library with the built-in shelves and all! I hope my kids will find as much magic in poetry and reading as I do.

  7. lucky,we have barely anything

  8. I have enough poetry books to make a small library of my own! But, although I do consult them - I've stopped reading them as I read A!Y postings instead.....And (although this may be the beginning of the death-throes of all libraries I use the web to find poems as well)

  9. I'm terrible, just TERRIBLE! The last time I went to our library was to pick up tax forms....about 9 years ago.

(I KNOW! I KNOW! PLEASE DON'T BE TOO HARSH!!)

  10. I don't think my library has any poetry books, besides those written by Seuss. :'( The selection is pretty tiny, but they could at least TRY to expand their customers' horizons...well, seeing as very few people go to our library anyways, there isn't much hope. :(

  11. Not really, there is only one volume of Pinsky's works here, same for Maxine Kumin and Robert Bly. The library is not as hip as it used to be.
