Has your pub gone rubish?

I am sat doing nothing on a sunday afternoon. The pubs I used to go to were once rocking on a Sunday but now are empty. Is this the same all over the country whats your local like??

yes,, i think all day opening years ago killed our local,, all the lads used to be there at opening time now they drink at various times of day and we all in thjere at different times

in Australia right now..... my answer is yes... anti smoking laws have killed the pub scene and all thats left are the scum that claim money off the govt....

we have got a new landlady who is really lazy and miserable the pub is the only one in the village and she has totally killed it !!  so we bought a bar and put it in the dining room now its kicking in the village again a lot cheaper and no smoking ban.winner.

My locals are busier than ever! There is much more a focus on eating these days which suits me just fine  ; )
