a coaster, thrill ride, or carnival ride? Which one was it, at which park?

My lap bar came up on the backwards Racer at Kings Island just as we hit the top of the first hill. It's a wooden coaster with 2 identical tracks, but they both only go forward now.

My shoulder bar was also way too loose on the Mantis at Cedar Point. It's a stand-up coaster that goes upside down.

  1. No that has never happened to me.

  2. Six Flags: Great Adventure - My brother and I went to go on some rollercoasters and we got into a lot of problems, including the restraint bar thing (it was on Medusa). It didn't come loose, but it was shaking and what not. We knew that it couldn't fly off thank's to the seatbelts holding it in, but still, it didn't feel great to have it shaking. After going thru a morning of h**l, we left before we got killed. Good thing we did, that's for sure! But usually I'm okay with rides, so no big deal I guess. But that was a really bad experience. EVERY ride we went on that day had a problem with it! I'm glad we got out of it okay! Sheesh!

  3. never :P

  4. i went on the firehawk at kings island and when it was upside down it kept on getting looser and looser :|

ive had a few problems out of the racer too

i hate the fact that they both go foward now

i'll never be on them again

now it's gonna be boring >:[

i never had any problems out of the mantis and cedar point though that ride was fun!!! :D

  5. Aero 360 at Kennywoood - you go upside-down and my restraint was wiggling everytime i lean forward i heard a click but notihing happened i was wayyy happy :]

  6. well that has never happened to me at kings island and i really really don't want it to.So yeah that must of stunk. How did you get it back on?and other bad thing is that the racer don't go backward because i was ganna ride the one that goes backward!!!well that's all.hope i helped some how.bye

  7. I was on the Spongebob's boatmobiles ride at Great America, and the lap bar wouldn't lock in place.

  8. Yes. It was on the Shockwave at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.

The seat belt unbuckled and I couldn't buckle it back, but I wouldn't really count it because I had a lap bar as well...and well...seat belts can come off easily.
