3 great stories, and it's not just the boys is it!!! I bet I could write book if I sat down and thought of all the happenings with my kids.

Army mom. -- Boys just have to experiment with peeing, don't they?

Haz, you sound as if you were just the kind of child my girl was, totally wild at times, I would gasp in disbelief sometimes!!

Monkey, What a scare for both of you, and you still have far to go!! They get up to all sorts, but thankfully survive.

  1. WOW! My heart would have also been in my stomach. My son who is now an adult had done something that scared me too.

When he was 4 years old, we had a conversation about water and electricity not going well together. He decided to pee in a electrical outlet to see what would happen. Well... he did get a little zap on the you know what and started a small fire up the wall and cause half of the house to loose power. I was more frightened about how shook up he was and pale looking. he turned out to be fine, but the electrician wanted to know where the water damage was, Ha ha very funny guy. He still remember that day and is very careful around electric. I just hope to still have grandchildren.

  2. Well,I don't really have kids of my own but I had this cousin who was 2 1/2 she had a dream of her mom saying that she hates her when her mom loves her a lot. When she woke up she ran to her mother and said that she hated her.She kept dragging her mom to the corner of the room and repeated "time out mommy you are a bad girl!".And i should mention that she loves strawberries so just then my grampa cam with a basket of strawberries and she forgot the whole thing!Lol!

  3. I don't think I can "top" the ones that have already been posted, but this was still scary, but I laugh so hard about it now.

My son is now 15 months old. About three months ago, he had a plastic clothes hanger. (Out of all the toys he has - these for some reason are his favorite things to play with!) I was getting ready for work in the bathroom, and he was walking around the house twirling the hanger.

All of a sudden, I hear a blood curdling scream from him. So I run over to him, and he had the hook of the clothes hanger in his mouth - and was pulling on it! He was trying so hard to pull it out of his mouth, but was just stretching his mouth beyond belief! You could see the end of the hanger hook pulling on his cheek, and his whole face was blood red. I honestly thought he was going to rip his mouth! He had his lips stretched almost to his ear!!!

  4. Well, they're both still small, but both of them have already thrown themselves off their changing unit, that scared the h**l out of me as it comes up to my waist!

Finn likes to jump off things, he fell of the sofa onto the top of his head once, and I was convinced he'd broken his neck, I was in tears. He was fine, didn't even cry!!

I think the worst thing he's done was follow me out when I was taking the rubbish down, we live one floor up, and it's a public walkway outside the front. I put the latch on to pop down the end to the bin chute and the next thing I knew I could hear him babbling away as he was wandering down it. I had no idea which was he was going, and the opposite way to me has a flight of concrete steps so I was petrified. Luckily he came my way. I don't leave the latch on anymore!! So much for the Tweenies being decent babysitters ;)

  5. I couldn't read that without my heart racing! I can imagine myself in the ultimate pickle of toilet roll/knickers/ big belly...OMG Aurora...LOLOL!

My kids of into plenty of hair-raising situations ALL of them involving their Dad. In his defence though the scheming of m kids is legendary so he was up against it!

My mum always talks of a similar situation to yourself where she took me swimming for the very first time ( i was 3 ) We came out of the changing rooms and had to pass the deep end first. She let go off my hand to pass in the clothes basket and was off head first into the 10 ft pool. I can still remember thinking everyone could swim naturally, I can also remember the bubbles before I was dragged out by appaerntly 3 lifegaurds!!

My mum still refers to the child I was as a 'Bloody mad-brain '.
