Hasbro guitar?

ok heres the deal... i know how to play a real guitar... are you able to just jam on a hasbro guitar without it making any extra noises?

those guitars stink.my daughter wanted one for xmas and we went to the store to find one..my husband plays guitar and he said it was the biggest piece of junk..it  had aweful feedback and the sound was just aweful..we just bought her a real one...
