Hase anyone knew of babies teaching themselves how to walk?

You can't teach a baby to walk -- their brains and bodies develop at their own rate, and work it out for themselves. They all "teach themselves". You can encourage the development by allowing them lots of freedom of movement.

All of them do. Just be patient, and get stuff out of the way that they might trip over. A few days of shakiness and they will be toddling all over the place.
