Hashim Amla, the South African batsman, believes that the involvement of a majority of his teammates in the ongoing Champions League Twenty20 tournament is unfortunate for his side's upcoming challenges.
Currently, thirteen South African players are playing in the CLT20 tournament in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746, scheduled to be started
on October 13, 2011.
The series will include a two-match Twenty20 series, a three-match One-Day International series and a two-match Test competition.
Although Amla is concerned about his team’s preparation ahead of the series against the Kangaroos, he still believes that Gary Kirsten's working style will help to sharpen his squad's skills.
"From my experience with Gary so far, his style is not to impose," Amla said.
Before joining the South Africans in June 2011 as a full time coach, Kirsten had been serving the Indian team, and earned a great name for leading them to the final of International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup 2011.
The mega event’s triumph made Kirsten the most desired coach, and he was given much respect by the Indian players.

"I feel that we are professional enough to know what we need to do. It's a matter of connecting again with your teammates, with the environment. That's going to be a challenge for us, but we will try our best," he said.

"We will just have to assemble as quickly as possible, get into line and do the job," added Amla.
