Amla, who started his International career in 2004, also expressed his intent to perform with his bat for the team along with helping new captain.
“I don’t think a lot changes for me batting-wise, but I do want to contribute to AB as much as I can strategically. It’s something I do enjoy, though I’ve always concentrated on my batting.” He said while talking to the media.
“AB and I have an idea of what we would like, but he is the man in charge for the one-dayers and I am there to assist and facilitate wherever I can and with Graeme (Smith) around that’s a massive help, he’s got eight years of experience and that is something massive for us to draw on.” He continued.
