Can he win the title of Sam Peter?

I think the Rock can do it, this boy is a 2 time undisputed champ of the world, best jab in history.

Big up Baltimore!!

  1. I absolutely agree with you! Rahman actually has boxing SKILL and he has been in there with top notch competition winning some big ones and losing a few as well in his eventful career. The point is however is that the ROCK knows how to navigate the BIG TIME waters. He also has learned a thing or two along the way!

Samuel Peter on the other hand is simply a chubby kid with heavy hands. And thats putting it nicely! He posesses VERY LITTLE boxing skill. He is also a large soft target for Hasim

The reason we hear so much about Samuel is because he is being PROPELLED by the DUVA MACHINE much the same way MICHAEL GRANT was thrust on us by HBO at the turn of the mellenium.

The only difference was that Michael Grant actually had a physique that looked like that of a champion even if the skills were not there.

But I don't care how heavy your hands are. You can't keep up a sham too long if you lack physical conditioning AND talent!

George Foreman in his 40's of course wasn't a chiseled adonis but he brought with him a ton of skill and a lifetime of knowledge. Therefore he could get away with not having his old Olympic body

Peter on the other hand not only is chubby and unconditioned but he also lacks skill and ring smarts

So he is basically Michael Grant with John Goodman's conditioning!

Hasim Rahman WILL give Peter a boxing lesson

Then he WILL knock him senseless

Hasim will take him in to the deep waters of the later rounds where the ROCK will become the ICEBERG and sink Sammy like the TITANIC! I mean that very literally.

BET ON IT! SERIOUSLY! You will probably make a little dough because there are a lot numskulls in VEGAS betting circles that will make Peter the big favorite.

Save up your extra cash and get ready to lay it on the BALTIMORE ROCK and make a tidy profit!.

    Enjoy your winnings kid!

    I KNOW I WILL!

  2. are you serious? rahman got his @$$ kicked by maskaev twice.sam peter hits alot harder than than maskaev.sorry but rahman just can't take a punch.

  3. I like Hasim Rahman, and I wish what you said would somehow magically come true, but the fact of the matter is that it won't.  In Rahman's past few fights, he has looked like c**p, and he has actually WON his past few fights.  In his last fight, he almost got knocked out by a journeyman fighter with 0 knockouts named Zuri Lawrence.  He was rumored as an opponent for David Haye when Haye moves up, which shows you that Rahman has fallen into "opponent" status.  As far as facing Samuel Peter- I know it won't happen right now, but if it did, I would have to favor Peter at this stage.  He is too young and too strong for Raham right now.  If this was the Rahman of a few years ago, he would beat Peter easily- when Hasim was focused and on his game like he was for the first Lennox Lewis fight, he proved that he was a force to be reckoned with.  But, he has not really done anything since then to show me that he can get back to that form of knocking out a guy like Lewis.  I hope that he can turn it around and win the title again, but I highly doubt that he can because you can't turn back the clock, and he is past his prime, and with each passing fight, he gets worse and worse.

Oh, and Larry Holmes had the best jab in history, not Hasim Rahman (although there is a good argument for Muhammad Ali).
