Hat-trick by Internationaldebut in a single month with Paul Midgley and Frederik Tylicki
Internationaldebut, the 6-year-old Irish has made a hat trick and done his trainer, Paul Midgley and his jockey, Frederik Tylicki proud. In all the last three races which Internationaldebut won it was Frederik Tylicki who was riding him.
These three victories are not even month apart from one another rather they are one after the other in the same month, September, 2011.
The most recent achievement was on 20th September at the Violet and Eddie Smith Memorial Conditions Stakes. The race track displayed the talent of five different horses, one quite prominent entry being Mister Manannan under charge David Nicholls
and ridden by Adrian Nicholls.
At the beginning of the race, Internationaldebut was in the rear but was headway over two furlongs out, travelled well with strength and was in lead for the last fifty yards. Finishing right behind him was Tim Easterby’s Favourite Girl who was leading during
the first furlong but was driven out by after racing one furlong out, geared up but with no success.
"You'd have to say he's the best horse I've had. There were more negatives than positives today, but he's really got his confidence back. He's just been fantastic”, said Midgley.
Earlier on 8th September, Internationaldebut went onto claim the Elements Medispa Handicap after battling twenty other contestants. This race had two similar representations, Tim Easterby’s Discanti and David Nicholls’s Cadeaux Pearl.
He started off midfield, cleared the second furlong smoothly and then after edging towards the left, he broke through the wire.
Second in line was Marine Commando who chased leaders, was able to get hold of the lead but for only over a furlong and just during the final furlong, he was driven out by Internationaldebut.
Third stood out to be Linda Stubbs’s Five Star Junior and Richard Hughes’s ride, Barnet fair ended being fifth.
The first phase of the hat trick began on 4th September at the Betfair Supports Go Racing in Yorkshire Stakes where there was a lineup of twenty horses. Three horses were representing Tim Easterby, Midnight Martini who came tenth, Striking Spirit
was fourteenth and Cocktail Charlie ended coming fifteenth.
Internationaldebut started off mid division but even after been through the second furlong he was not clear before the final furlong during which he led near finish.
Midgley went on: "The horses have been ticking over all year and it's great this one's equalled our best ever season. We'll now look at York (Coral Sprint) or a Group Three at Ascot at the beginning of October”.
These three victories by Internationaldebut have given Paul Midgley his 45 wins this season. Even though the connections have mentioned nothing about future plans for the horse, it is quite probable that Internationaldebut will get a break before he starts
off again.
