  1. If you are talking about those small 220V incubators, I would skip it and see if you can borrow an incubator from someone (ask on your local craigslist).  Unfortunately, you can't control the temperature or the humidity in those things and they often result in bad hatches - either the eggs don't hatch or they hatch and the chick can't absorb the yolk, gets stuck in the egg... any number of problem issues.

    Try your local craiglist (farm and garden section) or post on the forum at backyardchickens.com.  Someone may let you hatch out their chicks for them and take them back when you are done.

  2. You can get live babies from feed stores and / or ask them where to buy them at. You can have your parents buy some eggs off of ebay for you. and after they hatch feed stores will take them right away. I do not suggest doing this if you aren't going to keep them though. unless you first have a supplier then a taker before and after doing this project.

    I am near dallas so if you got quail eggs off of ebay then hatched them out, I'd be happy to drive to your location to pick them up to put in my back yard aviary.

  3. You can get fertilized chicken eggs at a farm, on the internet as well.

    eggbid.com, adpost.com, or a local hatchery in your area.

    You should give them to someone like a farmer or look on classifieds to see if anyone would want them. Try placing an ad in the paper or on the internet

  4. farm?

    do you even know about handfeeding uhhhh.

    let me guess no.

    so get a diffrent project.

    iight peace =0

  5. Ideal Poultry Garm in Texas may help you out with the eggs. (Google them for the number) Please find a home BEFORE you start you project. They really don't make good pets and should go to someone with chickens already. (Local farm?) Call your local feed store and ask them if they have a customer with chickens that you can give them to. Once they are in the incubator, it will take 21 days to hatch.Follow instructions and turn them daily as reccommended. Good Luck!
