Hatching duck???

Question

Im hatching a duck and it about two weeks into the process..... I held the egg up to a light and saw a really big dark spot in it? Is that good??? What is it?????????

It's the embryo (fetus) of the hatchling.  Stop playing with the egg and wait for it to hatch!

Probably the duck forming.

Good Luck with your duck ! Listen to "Decoy". Except for turning it, don't mess with it. AND, when it starts hatching, don't help it along. Sometimes the stomach isn't completely enclosed into the body, and you can kill it by helping too much.
