Hate the new My Yahoo page. Anyone know who to email about this?

Really do not like the new My Yahoo page/layout. Want the old one back if possible. Anyone know the email address to send my sad comments too? The squeaky wheel gets the grease - so squeak, squeak, squeak!

Thanks

  1. I repeatedly gave detailed feedback over the last year of the 'beta' stage of the new My Yahoo! and it obviously ALL fell on deaf ears. I think the only way Yahoo will take note that their design decisions are for the most part WRONG is when all of us who hate the new My Yahoo! stop logging in to My Yahoo! Instead of *us* emailing them, perhaps they will email us and say "Um, where did we go wrong?"

Probably won't happen. But they know where to reach us.

  2. I don't have an answer, but I agree with you.   This is a very useless change.  I want the old homepage back.  They also elliminate some of the modules I had ... such as the pregnancy calendar.

  3. yahoo is simply uncooperative. all you can do is hit them where they live; maybe they'll get the idea.

here is a place where you can get a hosts file replacement and painless installer which will prevent the download and appearance of yahoo (and many others') advertising:

    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.ht...

please tell your friends, and help many newbies.

in the end, i honestly hope that yahoo comes to it's senses, but in lieu of that, i suppose that it should be more humane to hasten their consumption by microsoft. . .

  4. There doesn't seem to be any way to do that.  I've sent feedback, but it doesn't do any good.  You're not alone, by the way - I'm very annoyed at the switchover.  The 'new' My Yahoo doesn't even work for me - everything is all on top of other modules or links, and all the links come up 'javascript(void)' and simply return me to the top of the page.  The only one I've gotten to work is the 'Help' link that takes me to FAQ and feedback.  There are some serious problems here, but it doesn't seem anyone wants to hear about them, much less actually fix them.

  5. i went to http://feedback.help.yahoo.com/feedback....

and left them feedback it the closest way to get a message to them  hope this helps

    We appreciate your feedback.

Your feedback helps us improve the quality of My Yahoo!. We do review all submissions, though we cannot respond due to volume.

  6. I totally agree. This "new" look isn't easier at all. I have no idea how to work anything.  I'm actually looking for something that resembles the old My Yahoo.

  7. You get what they offer you---Part of the cost of 'free'
