Marseille midfielder, Hatem Ben Arfa has made his loan term to Newcastle United permanent by signing a four and a half year contract with the Magpies.
The French star is now officially a Newcastle player, after both clubs agreed on an undisclosed transfer fee. The 23 year old had a mixed season with the premier league new comers, when he scored a goal on his first touch at the club. The player is an exciting
young talent but suffered a double leg fracture owing to a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nigel-de-Jong-c27882 challenge, in october.
However, his four appearances were enough to make his switch permanent and the player was delighted to be part of the black and white.
"I am absolutely delighted to be signing for Newcastle United on a permanent basis. During my short time at the club, I thoroughly enjoyed playing for the team and for the supporters too. This is a great club and I am very happy to be committing my future
to them,” stated the 23 year old Frenchman.
The midfielder claimed that he is currently working hard to get back to full fitness and looks forward to making a comeback at St James Park in the near future. The player thanked the fans and the players for their messages and concern during his injury
and wants to pay them back by giving his best on the pitch.
Newcastle coach Alan Pardew was quick to snap up the deal his predecessor http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Hughton set up for Ben Arfa and was delighted to be getting the player on a permanent basis. The manager claimed that since his arrival at the club, he wanted to make the deal
permanent and was pleased to have the Frenchman permanently.
"The last thing I wanted was for us to lose him when his loan ended, so we are really pleased to have agreed that deal today,” stated the Coach.
Ben Arfa has all the makings of becoming a good midfielder as the player has pace, vision and passing technique, which would be vital for the likes of Andy Carroll upfront. The manager hoped for Arfa to return to full fitness soon and start making the first
team appearances. For now, he is keeping his fingers crossed for the date of the player’s return.
