Hats My Lady strong in the salacresracingteam.com Grand National Round 1 Heat 3
The three-year-old, Hats My Lady, is the only contender in the line-up of salacresracingteam.com Grand National Round 1 Heat 3, who has put up some effort in gaining experience at the open level recently. The races culminated into nothing out of the ordinary, but her counter parts in the race tonight, Have To Win, Clydal Babs, Saleen Tompajoe, Biko Jack and All Sensation, do not have much clue about the level that awaits them.
The race is scheduled for Monday, 15th October, 2012 at Harold’s Cross over 525 yards hurdle. The winner of the race has been promised the €50 prize money.
The only two factors that set the F. Black trained apart is her exposure at the level, and the rigorous training that every hound in the line-up has not got a chance to go through.
Hats My Lady has been racing since the last season, and has collected experience over multiple race courses.
Her cracking into the new season was in the Coral Maiden – Duplicated on 5th January, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres. Taking off from the third stall, she was quick to drift away from the rest of the lot, switched from the rail to the middle. The favourite entry stayed glued to the leading role, and had the race settled in 29.85 seconds. Winning by the margin of two lengths had, Tenor Max, making peace with the second position.
Royal Impact’s daughter was then dominant in the win Here With The Coral Green Tick Maiden Stayers on 18th January, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres. Racing in the blue jacket, she set into an early pace, stayed by the rail and led from the first position, making it to the other end of the wire in 35.46 seconds.
The last time, before the four training sessions for the hurdle debut, Hats My Lady ended as the runner-up in the Martine Hill 40th Birthday Trophy on 29th March, 2012 at Hove over 515 metres.
She suffered defeat due to the 3 ¼ lengths by which the winner, Agincourt Cilla, won the race by clocking the track distance in 30.17 seconds.
She will race in orange vest due to the fifth stall.
