Hats My Name set to stand first in Owners Bonus Series Heat 2 at Sunderland
Following a comprehensive win, Hats My Name is full of spirit. Therefore, the bookies are expecting him to display a wonderful act in the second heat of Owners Bonus Series, taking place at Sunderland on Friday, May 18th.
In a 450 metres contest, the white and black dog performed superbly, beating Allowdale Julie by three and a half lengths. Despite getting crowded at the first bend, Y. Bell’s trainee managed to seize the top rank convincingly.
Hats My Name’s victory came after an embarrassing performance at the start of this month. The spectators at Sunderland saw him getting badly crowded at the first bend and as a result, he completed the order of finish.
The dashing hound is capable of producing good results consistently. Out of the last five races, he tasted success thrice. Let’s see how he keeps his head high tonight.
The Grade A3 event is scheduled to begin at 22:03 GMT. Among the confirmed contestants are: Hats My Name, Walkabout Mick, Ambis Dubh, Express Episode, Dunmail Hawk and Elwick Paymaster. A cash prize of £111 is reserved for the winner of the 450 metres Flat
heat.
Walkabout Mick is bursting with energy, however, victories are not coming to his way regularly. The black dog was runner-up last time around. Since luck did not smile on him, G. Lynas’ trainee missed the gold medal by a short head’s distance.
Walkabout Mick’s last success hit the headlines at the start of last month, when he beat Olympian Flame by two and a quarter lengths.
Ambis Dubh needs to give his best to beat this line-up. The black dog has been consistent over the past few weeks, winning three of the previous five events.
Elwick Paymaster requires plenty of luck to do well. Express Episode is expected to build on her fresh success and do well tonight. On the other hand, Dunmail Hawk is coming into this battle after a few rough rides.
According to our calculations, Hats My Name is likely to continue his good work today. However, Elwick Paymaster might cause a few problems for him. Good luck to everyone.
