  1. I don't see Hatton's skin holding up. Ricky would come forward and get his face busted up something fierce by Oscar's jab.

  2. De La hoya would KO Hatton. Hatton is not one to back down, he's a pressure fighter. Oscar would use his jab, and then the left hook to finish him.

  3. de la hoya

he has amazing combos that hatton cant resist

  4. Ricky Hatton. At least I hope.

  5. Other people summed it up perfectly why Oscar would win. I agree with the others on their reasons.

Hatton is tough, but I just don't think he's good enough to beat someone like Oscar. But hey you never know what could happen once the bell rings.

  6. Just to put something in perspective:

Oscar is bigger, stronger and hits harder than Floyd, right? Yet Floyd put Hatton over with a picture-perfect Left Hook. The Left Hook is Oscar's pet shot, so if Floyd did that, imagine what Oscar would do...

Simply put, Oscar is too big, too strong and hits too hard for Hatton. Oscar's chin is pretty solid as well, so he should easily take all of Hatton's best shots - including the Left Hooks to the ribs, the one that shot Castillo. The build up and press conferences would be cordial - they have a healthy respect of one another - but in the ring, Oscar stops Hatton, I would say, in the 7th round.

  7. De La Hoya would win this fight... Hes the naturally bigger man. Hatton hasn't fought higher than 147lbs and Oscar held part of the middle weight world title. It would be a decent fight cause of Hattons heart but De La Hoya should win this one going away....

I find it odd that Oscar is looking for easy fights to end his career, i agree he deserves it, but why not go out wit a bang? Fighting Pacquiao, who started out as a flyweight, and a smaller Ricky Hatton isn't good for boxing... I would like to see him fight the winner of Margarito-Cotto. That would be a great fight. Also i would love to see him whoop up on Sergio Mora!!! Sergio is way overrated and he basically said there is no competition in Super Welterweight and wants to move back to Middle... I think De La Hoya smacks him around. takes the WBC Title and retires happily ever after....

  8. de la hoya

  9. Hatton, that guy has some powerful body shots
