Question:

Hatton v mayweather rematch?

i,ve heard rumours that it will happen next spring at wembley stadium.

mayweather easily deserved to win last time but if it was at 140 pounds with a better referee (who was a disgrace by the way) i think it would make a very close fight. hatton is a completely different kettle of fish at his natural weight.

still think mayweather would win though.

  1. I know that referee was terrible joe cortez wouldnt let hatton fight, i remember about 3 times where hatton would go inside they would punch out of it and the ref would warn hatton, i mean let them fight.  I think that hatton fought a good fight last time but if he wants to win this time around he needs a jab, a guy that could jab his way in so mayweather dosent catch you on the way in with straight rights and check hooks, if hatton could use a jab i think it would be  agood fight, i still think that cotto has the better jab hits harder and i think that cotto would beat mayweather and not hatton. I would love to see this fight at wembley stadium, but i would love to see mayweatehr cotto more, if it ever happnens.

  2. The referee has nothing to do with it, joe cortez is one of the most respected refs in boxing second perhaps only to mills lane, Mayweather dominated towards the end of the match and completely out boxed him, moreover he knocked him out twice, if they fought again the result will probably be the same.

  3. mayweather will kick *** this time

  4. NO! boring

  5. Why even have the rematch the first one was too one sided.

  6. Floyd fights for money. I think as far as the American audience is concerned there will be little interest in this rematch. English fans would love this and Floyd would love to fight in thier arena...the only problem is Floyd, like many American fighters dont like to risk decisions in biased places like England. Regardless of refereee there would be no difference, except maybe no knockout. Hatton cant beat Floyd period.

  7. yes it will

  8. I doubt that hatton could win, mayweather has a decent chin and he is used to heavy blows (he fought gatti and de la hoya) and i really doubt that he would drop 140 to fight hatton, therefore i doubt that the fight would be any different if they fought again, however i believe that hatton should remain at one forty and dominate his division, i would love to see him fight pac man.
