im driving from kansas city to houston to pick up a tahoe. my question is what would be the cheapest way to get it back.

1. tow it back with my 3/4 ton gas truck (truck gets 13 mpg)

2. i drive one back and my wife drive the other.

3. tow my truck behind the tahoe (tahoe gets about 18 mpg)

with the added weight im sure towing mpg would be less but whats the most economical way to do this.

  1. Tow the truck behind the Tahoe but of your truck is four wheel drive make sure all four wheels are on the trailer if not your going to have to disconnect the rear drive shaft

  2. I suggest that you fly to Houston by yourself, see if the dealer, seller will pick you up from the airport and arrange it that way. Other wise order a pizza from a nearby place tell the delivery guy to go to the airport then get him to drive you to the destination. I know this sounds goofy but my friends have gotten rides home when they were drunk by walking into a pizza place and asking for delivery while standing there. I found it funny that they made a commercial about guys doing this and always needing a designated driver.\

h**l bro, if I wasn't afraid of you being a rapist or a ax murderer, I would pick you up on my way to Houston one weekend.

Anyhow, air fair seems to be getting cheaper.
