Haunted places?

I wanted to know if anyone can share with me thier experince with a haunted place they know of...or lived in? I still cant get enough answers to my other two questions about the paranormal.... i guess not alot of ppl have encounters... anyway, let me know guys!

i saw my grandmother oncestanding besides my bed, i was being raped, and she told me everything would eb alright, i didnt know it was my grandmother i\untill a week later when my dad showed me a family album with her picture in it. i never got pregnant, and i am over it now

I grew up in what I consider to be a "haunted" house and had several incidents there. One time my sister and I were playing hide-and-go-seek. She saw me run into the kitchen to hide in a little nook, or so she thought. When she got there no one was there, I was actually down the hall in our bedroom.

Several times I would be in the bathroom getting ready to take a bath and would feel someone touch my back, like they were stroking it.

My bedroom was on the corner of the house by the backyard, with a fence that ran from the corner of the house down the side of the yard, so no one could see in my room (but I could see out as the house was slightly elevated). We had a gravel drive beside the house that we shared with our neighbors. During one summer I began hearing footsteps in the gravel in the middle of the night. Our neighbors were a middle-aged couple with several young children, not the type to be up in the middle of the night, especially over by our house. I would hear slow, deliberate footsteps that sounded like they were right outside my window, but no one was ever there. Turns out that the land that the house was built on used to be Native Americal burial land.

The place that I used to work at was also haunted. I worked at a residential treatment center for kids, and I worked graveyard with one shift partner. Our building had a seclusion room (a room that locked shut if a client was being extremely violent). In the middle of the night we would hear scratching noises and footsteps coming from that room, and no one would be in there (it had windows that we could see in). Also one time my coworker and I and another coworker from another building were sitting in the office talking. There was a door not too far from us that had a crash bar. As we're sitting talking, we heard something slam into the crash bar, but the door never opened. Also another time I was walking through the office and I saw a child standing sort of behind the corner of the doorway (I could clearly see toes). I walked to the doorway and saw the child go around a corner down a hall. I followed the child and when I got to the hallway no one was there. I searched everywhere and looked in every room, but every child was accounted for. We would also hear really weird noises coming from outside the building, which sucked because we would have to go check them out, but of course we never found anything. We did even have a few incident of kids waking up in the middle of the night with horrid nightmares or hearing or seeing weird things.

I've had other encounters as well, but I think I've written enough :).

What was known as the University of Hartford's men's campus where demons walked about on the grounds. Its a place where retired catholic priests now reside, its big and huge and always a creepy feeling like  someone was watching.

I grew up in a house in southern New Hampshire, USA, where I occassionally saw a shadow man roaming around. At one point it walked through a wall and came face to face with me and seemed surprised and backed up into the wall. I never saw the creature after that.

Many years later in an apartment about 3 towns away, me and my wife would get faint wiffs of something sulferous that would last a brief moment. It was noticable, but would leave you wondering if you imagined it or not.  At one point a candle flew off the wall while me, my wife and son were watching tv. I believe the smell was brimstone, and was caused by demons passing between our world and h**l.

I had a job for 4 years where I drove endlessly. Countless times i have seen road ghosts, which are hallucinations when you get tired driving. I suspect 3 of those experiences were not hallucinations, again, they were shadow people, not like usual road ghosts which are usually full color people or animals, or white or gray.

We now live in a house where we continuously hear footsteps in parts of the house that we know noone lives in. Although I would be inclined to pass it off as house sounds, too many times me and my wife have both heard what is undeniably footsteps.

Me and my wife are both Christians, so I find it flattering that the dark forces work so hard to break us down.

In less technical terms, h**l is like another dimension that is parallel to ours. It is basically earth, only everything is evil, and every city, state, country, and continent (including Antarctica, which in h**l, is nothing but a volcanic wasteland.) is ruled by one of Satan's minions. Also, the names of all the citys, states, countries, and continents are modified to have some h**l related pun (Example: Mass-h**l-chusetts) in them to indicate that it is h**l. Some other notable things about h**l are that no 2 people speak the same language, and people will often swear at each other in foreign languages. Its the worst things about life, only magnified.

I think I am living with a ghost right now. There are things that are happening and have happened that I just cannot explain.

I was working on the car, then took a break went in to watch the news, but could not find the remote. I literally tore the house to shreds looking for it. The last place anyone seen it was on the coffee table. When I went back out to the car, the remote was laying on the passanger side of the car on the ground.

Here is the scary part-I was no where near the passanger side of the car when I was working on it.

How did the remote control for the TV get out there and why?

hm.. i used to live in a house which was once a witch-doctor's. dat was when i was very small. we moved now.. and my dad just told me a year ago, or so. he saw this ugly thing in our backyard. that thing knocked on our window calling for my dad. but dad just acted as if he didn't see it there.. mom had nightmare on the first day there and her tv in her bedroom switched on by itself. i myself, i woke up one nite, and i see it my self, my baby-stool pulled out from under the desk by itself!

I lived in a haunted house when I was 5. I saw three ghost. A little girl who was in the hallway outside of my door pacing awfully fast. A man who was floating in the same hallway as the little girl a few days after her. A young women who was watering a plant where a large plank of wood was. When I saw the first two I was uneasy about them being there. When I saw the young women I was completly at ease I even laughed a little to myself what she was watering.

I had a friend whose house was an illegal abortion clinic during the 1970's.  If you sit in the clinic part of the house late at night (which is unused by the way) you can hear the soft weeping of women.

Well one time me and my little sister were in my house and we heard 6 door slams right on the other side of the the house and there is only 3 doors And We were so freaked out that we ran outside.  Then there was this other time where i could feel this really scary weird feeling that something was watching me but no one was there.

actually there was a ghost in my house for yrs. was weird coz it was a ghost of an alien!

no, actually seriously for some reason my home was haunted for a number of yrs. but for some odd reason strange activity stopped 6 yrs. ago

the tv would go on by itself [several diff times] the radio did a couple of times, my husband and i had the same dream during the 1st wk. we moved in here. and once I saw a ghost and wrote a story about it. some guy online in 1999 actually posted it on his website, along w/other true stories, ghost stories

You must be really impatient. Try asking one question at a time, unless the questions are different.

I'm afraid I haven't been to a haunted place. Most of my experience is not with ghosts.
