Hauppauge WinTV Digital TV Tuner?

Has anyone used one of these on a laptop, is the picture quality as good as watching normal tv and does it work without an internet connection?

i got one of these and got a loft Aerial  works fine on vista

u don't need a Internet connection .that little aerial is useless

but depends were you live.
