Have 18 by 36 inground pool leaking about 3 inches day plug hole water below plugs now any help been doin dye?

losing water fast put in winter plugs an still leaked never had water leak til my light under water came out but did dye test around it an dye never was sucked in just took out winter plugs an no water came out of the lines there still about 3inches in skimmer so im elimating the skimmer been doin dye test an lookin around liner no holes so far have lost 18 inches water in 5 days
