  1. Neutering all of your cats is the best bet to stop this.  It takes their aggression levels down.

And yes, sometimes cats will choose to pee on something they know they shouldn't because they're showing their annoyance with you.  Cats can be really spoiled babies at times over dumb things.  My female always pees on me while I'm drying her after her bath, she never does it otherwise and she always saves it until I'm almost done and she knows she's about to be let go.

He could be marking his territory, though.  It's more likely that this is the case.  Pee contains his scent as well as his "spray" and if you've seen them rubbing their chins on things, that's the same thing.  It's all a way to claim territory.  Neutering all of them is your best bet.

  2. the cats might be older so they don't wanna move to their box but i would try to put the cat in the litter box and if the cat does it again put the cat near the pee and he might realize he's not allowed to do that!

I know it sounds really harsh cause my mom did it to my poor boy but it works!

  3. He is marking his territory.  if you want to end this problem you might need to get your cats neutered.

  4. If it is not spray, then it is probably not a territorial marking.  Cats will urinate outside of their litter box when they have a bladder infection or some other medical problem.  When they have a urinary tract infection or bladder infection, just like people, it hurts them to go to the bathroom and they then associate that pain with the litter box, so they go somewhere besides the litter box.  You should take him to the vet so they can get a urine sample and see if the kitty has a medical problem.  If so, they'll give you some meds, and kitty should start going back to his litter box once the infection starts to clear up.

  5. This could be a symptom that your cat is suffering from a urinary or bladder infection, so it's a good idea to have a vet check him over.  If the vet gives him a clean bill of health, then you need to look for behavioural causes.

It's a popular misconception that cats soil on the bed out of spite.  Cats are not disgusted by their own urine or faeces, so it never occurs to them that we might find it offensive.  However, cats who're feeling anxious will often do this.  They search out items that smell most strongly of their owner and urinate on them in an attempt to reinforce the bond between you by mixing their scent with yours.    It's also designed to send out a message to any rivals (real or imagined) asserting their right to be there, or telling them to stay away.

The web site below has a check list of 18 reasons why cats stop using their litter box, and advice on how to solve the problem.  If it turns out that he is marking territory, there's also advice on how to deal with that.

  6. THIS IS VERY EASY CAUSE I HAVE 3 MALES CATS TO! 1.HE IS NOT SPADE!

2.IF HE SLEEP WITH YOU AND YOU ARE NOT TAKING HIM ON HE FEELS IGNORED OR REJECTED AND SUDDENTLY PEES TO SEND U A MESSAGE!

3.HE GETS A DIFFERENT SCENT FROM THE OTHER AND HE WANT TO BE THE BOSS SO HE MARKS HIS TERITORY!

    4.MAYBE AN INFECTION.

AND YOU ARE THAT YOUR MALE CATS GETS ALONG! MY MALE CATS FIGHTS LIKE MAN! THEY HATE EACH OTHER TO THE BONE.

  7. He is marking his territory - he wants to let the other cats know it is "his" area. Unfortunately, the other cats are likely to follow and pee on the bed too, so you have a choice to make - a clean bed or not! It's not because they are mad at you, they are territorial creatures and behave as such. You are unlikely to stop this now that it has started, so maybe keep the cats out of the room [sad I know, but the only way to stop it]
