Have 5hp craftsman engine.?

Question

got new magneto. it has 2 wires. 1 goes to the kill switch, where does the other wire hook to.

According to the wiring diagram for my sears tractor, one wire goes to the ignition switch, (kill switch) and the other goes to ground.  I assume it is to make sure the module is grounded to the engine.  The ignition module is grounded to the engine through the mounting bolts so the extra wire is probably not necessary.
