Have Egypt changed since 2006?

Question

I was in Cairo and Alexandria in the summer of 06.. I wasn wondering since then have Egypt changed regarding everyday life..

No offend guys Egypt is a great and wonderful country in the whole world.. But seriously the people should but a lot of effort to manage the pollution problem and cars traffics all over the place.. It's not even easy to drive on the streets of Cairo and stuff.. some of the areas in Maadi are full of trush on the streets.

And I was wondering has anything changed..
