Lunch i went to jason's deli and had the salad bar.

i had some plain lettuce, 1 tbsp of low fat honey mustard, a few wheat cracker packs with roasted red pepper hummus, 3 spoonfuls of organic lite granola, about 1/4 cup of dried fruit and nut mix, one mini tiny pumpkin muffin thing, 1 little pack of honey graham crackers, and a cup of vegetable soup.

so that was prbbly like 800 calories im guessing..i dont really know.

then i ran 2 miles, and did some weight machines at the gym, 150 crunches all ways. and once my dinner digests im going to do 20 minute pilates, and possibly run 2 more miles.

but for dinner I had a fruit bowl (made of one small pear, 4 cut up strawberries, 6 grapes, and 2 spoonfuls of blueberries), veggie crisps (130 cal, 4 grams of fat), and a sandwich. i made it on whole wheat bread (90 cal), turkey slices (50 cal), slice of fresh tomato, little mustard, and lettuce.

so my dinner was like 450 calories i think.

so ill round up and say ive had 1200 calories today.

now im really really full. is that good for today?

after i run and do pilates i may be hungry later.

so would it be best to have some dried fruit mix with nuts with a 100 cal fat free yogurt?

thanks.

im 17, 5'5'', and 116 lbs.

  1. What you've eaten is pretty good, but there's one very important thing missing: what did you eat for breakfast?

There's more to life than calories!

If you're skipping meals, like breakfast, then you cannot count on your body to burn calories in a normal and healthy way. You are literally starving yourself. "To fast" means to not eat, and "breakfast" means that you are breaking your fast. If you don't eat until lunch, then you're fasting from the last time you ate the night before. Your body will store calories, and your health could suffer.

Plus, if you are exercising regularly, you need to be eating more than 1200 calories. It's probably going to be closer to 1800 or 2000. You're at a healthy weight right now, so there's no need for you to go below that.

  2. You should eat more calories if you are working out that much. Try 2000 calories

  3. Sounds like you're leaving out the protein in your diet, it is very important to get that, 1/4 oz of grilled/broiled chicken/fish will help.  That small amount of turkey is not going to do it for your body.  If you're not getting enough protein your body is going to steal it from your muscle mass.

If you are exercising that much, you are going to need more calories than what you're consuming.  You are fueling the body but not enough to stay healthy.

  4. Duh! lol good for you! I know i couldnt do that!
