Question:

Have I been food poisoned?

just ate some cream of broccoli soup from a can that's about to expire soon.

It smelled fine. I put water in it instead of milk, and put it in the microwave.

When I started eating it, I wasn't sure if it tasted normal or not. It didn't seem like it. And the broccoli was very soft and smooshy. Is that normal?

When I was finished with eating about half of the soup, I started feeling like throwing up. It came up to the back of my throat. and I was starving before I starting eating it

Could this be poisoning? What should I do? I'm scared

I dun wanna die! D:

  1. There are several different types of food poisoning, of which botulism is the most likely in what you ate.  Botulism stinks, and it takes a couple days to show symptoms.  So it's almost certain you didn't get that.

The broccoli in a canned soup will be soft and mushy, especially the way you cooked it (it's already been cooked when it was canned anyway).  I suspect your gag was psychological and you'll be fine in a little while.

  2. I doubt its food poisoning, when i had it it took a few hours for the symptomss to show,

Microwavess make things soft, broccolii is disgustingg and you cooked it incorrectly, i wouldn't worry.

    But Best of Luck!
