Have I been targeted by a malicious site?

Question

Recently, we received an e-mail from "Firewall Support" from [e-mail]. The thing is, we have more than one PC and we run COMODO Firewall Pro on one and Norton Internet Security on the other, and neither subscription is close to expiration. The e-mail does not mention which company the e-mail is from which generally gives me the impression that the e-mail is fraudulent. I've searched Google and McAfee Site Advisor but the e-mail address and website links do not exist. The e-mail is exactly as follows:

Clear the temp internet files. and run the norton scan .

It&#039;s a scam and a phiser, just delete it with all the other junk

I don&#039;t think you&#039;ve been targeted in particular. But it may be a hoax email designed to fool less-savvy users who may not know who made their firewall (or that they even have one).
