Have I had a contact lense in my eye for a month?

Okay, so about a month ago, i was getting ready to go swimming. I forgot to take my contacts out and i wasn't wearing goggles. I jumped in with my eyes open and when I came back up, i couldn't really tell if my lenses were still in my eyes or not. After I was done swimming, i went to the bathroom and tried to see if they were in but I didn't feel anything on my eye. I just forgot about it and went on with my vacation for the next 2 weeks. (I didn't wear any contacts for the rest of my vaccation, just glasses) About two and a half weeks ago, i got back home and I took my glasses off and looked in the mirror and saw that there was a circular ridge, a little bit smaller than my iris, on both my eyes. It looks just like what a contact would look like only smaller. I poked at it and tried to pull it out (as if it were a contact lense) but nothing happened. My vision is still normal with glasses but i want to know what the circular-looking thing on my eye is. I hope its not a contact

  1. It's the edge of your cornea. If you could see with your glasses on then you weren't wearing contacts. If you had contacts and glasses on at the same time, you'd be wearing twice the amount of prescripton you need and would give yourself a serious headache.

  2. LOL...if it was your contacts, you wouldn't be able to see with your glasses on...your prescription would be doubled.

And, after 2 weeks with them in, your eyes would be all red and sore.

What you are seeing is probably just a reflection from the light and mirror that you never noticed before.
