Have I ruined all my hard work? ?

I have been working hard at the gym all week by spending at least an hour every day working myself to the limit with aerobic exercise and not eating bad. Then today I thought I would have a day off, so I laid on the bed listening to a hypnotherapy CD and fell asleep from 6-8pm then woke up starving so I had a four finger kitkat, a bag of crisps and two biscuits. Have a ruined all my hard work? I'm going to try and spend at least an hour in the gym tomorrow though.

  1. Chocolate is an herb, crisps are potatoes, and biscuits are a grain.  Your belly is full, after a recuperating sleep--and even religion offers a day of indulgent rest.  So, I think you are safe.

And Plus, the "guilt factor" probably consumed the calories before you wrote this post!  :-)

  2. h**l no, work it off tomorrow, enjoy the day to day process is the key rather than the target

  3. You haven't ruined anything! It's not wrong to indulge yourself once in a while. Just go back to working out and eating better, and one day of less-healthy things won't matter. If you don't treat yourself sometimes, what's the point?? Good luck!

  4. the worst thing you can do to you is start blaming yourself after any kind of food

    you ate it ,its done

go and have fun with your friends and start getting to track from tommorow

  5. No you deserve a treat! Ive done exactly the same on occasions and  have still lost weight! Dont worry about whats happened today. Start afresh tomorrow, everything will be just fine!

  6. You haven't ruined it, you've exhausted your body.  The next time you wake starving simply remember why you are tired, all the hard work you've put in and have an apple, some protein, and water.  Have a biscuit every now and then, don't deprive yourself of what you love, instead reward yourself within limits for what you are doing for yourself.

I might suggest some strength training in there as well, you will work off excess fat faster the more muscle mass you build.  Muscle assists in the fat burning process, cardio is great but it only does so much and do the strength training first and then hit the treadmill, it will help flush out the lactic acid from your muscles so you are not so sore depending on the level of strength training.  Good Luck!

  7. No. Everyone needs a "fat day" or eat it in moderation. You have not ruined your hard work.

  8. got on a tred mill.
