Have RW-CD's but computer wont let me burn. How come?

take care that CD-ROM  is only reader not writer,you need CD-WRITER and writes RW-CDs,and usually these CDwriter equipped with writing software like nero or easy cd writer.

You must have CD-RW or CD+RW player first.

Maybe you have CD-Rom player.

Do you have a CD burner on your comp? You can't burn a CD-RW or "RW-CD" as you put it without one. CD-ROM drives don't have that capability. Also, if you do have a burner, you might have to install the drivers to use it.

does your computer have a cd burner?  also, the + or - on the type matter as well, that is, if you do have a burner.
