  1. Im still in shock that Manny is gone,he was my fave player.Im not sure how I feel cuz the shock hasnt worn off yet

  2. I think the Red Sox fan turned on Manny

  3. I think the fans are already pissed off about him since the trade rumor. They are not playing well enough neither. Quite a big hit at this year's deadline.

  4. actually, personally ive been tired of his immature **** for years,he was nothing but a distraction all season this year, time for him to go,plain and simple.Good hitter or not,he isnt a team player, period.good bye and good riddance to Ramirez.

  5. us fans dont randomly turn on a player.  We have always loved manny but he definately puts us to the test.  He got away with it because he performed...we accepted it because he performed.  The only reason manny is gone is because manny wanted to be gone...he forced the issue by becoming so disruptive there was no choice.  I am not going to turn on him but i am not losing sleep over it either.

  6. At this point in their careers Bay is the better player so Boston has improved their club. Bay has more HR than Ramirez and a few less RBI (playing for a medicore Pittburgh team) and is a better baserunner and fielder than the dreadlocked freak.

More importantly, Bay is 7 years younger and earns 1/3 what Ramirez does so Boston can be expected to re-sign him after this season.

As for Boston fans turnng on Ramirez, why bother? Do they criticize or abuse their garbage once it's carried to the dump? I doubt it, so why do it in this case? Ramirez is just another overpaid, overrated veteran and Boston is better off without him.

  7. I just found it amazing that a guy can't be happy making 20 million a year playing a game................He needs to be sweeping the streets!

  8. What?

Red Sox fans have been tired of Manny for years, or have you forgotten trade rumors at the deadline for the last few years?

Do you mean do they wish him bad luck?  No, he is going to the Dodgers, not the Yankees.:)
