Have Tesla coils ever been used as weapons?

I dont think so but im convinced that the lightning control suit can be formed into a hydrolic armour with functions to point and fire electricity or be equipped to things like tanks to prevent hijack

in conclusion i dont think it has been weaponized but it has the potential to be one of the most powerful weapons man has... COULD ever develop

Clearly a tazer gun is nothing like a tesla coil, and based on its underlying principles in no was, shape or form.  A tazer sends the current thru a wire.

Anyway, in answer, I am 99% sure the tesla coil has never been employed as a weapon or defence measure...  Only in fictional media, mostly in games and such.
